Public Health Skills and Career Framework
The Public Health Skills and Career Framework (PHSCF) provides a useful tool for development of the professional public health workforce and the wider public health workforce and for describing the skills and knowledge needed across these two groups.
The framework is designed as a tool for individuals at any stage of their career to identify a pathway for skills and career progression.

Our events and CPD courses have now been mapped to the PHSCF. Details of this can be found on each event page. Through registering with us you can also produce and maintain your own personal portfolio, and map your CPD to the PHSCF. Information on the PHSCF and descriptions of each of the comptencies and levels are available in the personal portfolio. To register for an online portfolio please click here.
