Regional 'Health Honours' Award

Health Honours

2008/2009 saw the launch of a regional excellence award for Healthy Universities – the first of its kind in England. The award has now run successfully for two years; recognising positive actions towards improving health and wellbeing in universities and colleges across the region.

Universities, further education colleges and other partner organisations are invited to submit examples of good practice in case study format, which were judged by a panel comprising representatives from national and regional partner organisations.

During our annual Good Practice Sharing Event, held in May, the awards are presented to the higher education institution, further education college and partner organisation who have demonstrated the most innovative practice in their category.
